Talk’ only ‘bout the weather
One thing that never ceases to amaze me, is the huge attention given to the weather in news programs.
Long are the days gone that one simply walked outside to see how the weather was and what it was going to be. No, nowadays only professionals can tell us that. Though most stick to telling us what we’ve already experienced earlier that day.
Last year, the BBC gave in to popular demand, and added a weather forecast to Newsnight. Anchorman Jeremy Paxman wasn’t too happy about that, as was registered by the people from Have I Got News For You;
