The Panda’s Thumb
Stephen Jay Gould famously wrote an essay about why a Panda looks to have six fingers, but hasn’t. But The Panda’s Thumb is more than just the titel of that essay. Right now, it also is a weblog for the defenders of the integrity of science.
Which is even interesting for people from countries where creationism and intelligent design are considered to be ridiculous by most. Although, in the Netherlands evolution theory isn’t a subject on the central final exams, as our Christian schools might object to that. And because it isn’t a subject for the exams, it also isn’t taught very often in our secondary education either.
